WHEN WE MEET:
- Wednesdays, 5:30 PM to 8 PM.
- The squadron may meet on Saturdays for special activities, such as orientation flights, and they may occur outside of the meeting site. Go to our EVENTS page to see our calendar.
INITIAL MEETING FOR PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS
- Prospective members will need to attend for three weeks before any commitment decision. The decision is entirely on the prospective member. Once a decision is made to join, we can help with the process, or you can reference the JOIN CAP page.
- Wheeler is a military base and requires base access. However, you do not need to have a DoD (military ID) to join CAP. The parent or prospective senior member can get day passes on their own; we cannot assist in day passes. Once you or your Cadet has joined, we can assist in a long-term pass.
LOCATION:
- Wheeler Squadron is located on Wheeler Army Airfield, and our squadron operates out of four locations:
- Wheeler Chapel (Our main meeting area is the Wheeler Chapel)
- Stoneman Field for physical training and testing
- A hangar on Wheeler Army Airfield,
- An office located within 25th Combat Aviation Brigade.
